The visual information system for Royal Wilanów highlights the architectural qualities of the building designed by JEMS Architects, one of Poland’s foremost architectural studios.

We translated individual details of the building’s design into a graphic vocabulary and language. The visual concept was inspired by “razor blades” that appear on the building’s exterior. They became the basis for a graphic motif, applied on murals found on the walls of staircases.

A dedicated system of icons was inspired by the building’s floor plan shape. It’s central element, the diamond shape, is a characteristic figure for the entire system.
